Library

Welcome to the Libraries of Gimnasio La Montaña

This is a vibrant space that inspires, connects, and transforms. At the Educational Resource Center for Learning – CREA, we promote reading, writing, and research as essential parts of learning and school life. Through activities such as author visits, classroom libraries, workshops, and curricular support, we strengthen reading, creative, and critical thinking skills within our community.

We have established partnerships with prominent organizations such as the Bogotá Book Fair and renowned publishing houses, enriching our cultural agenda and promoting access to culture and knowledge for everyone.

Following several rehearsals and the initiative of a group of 11th-grade students, the Library was transformed into a stage. The performance featured three songs rooted in flamenco tradition, presented in an intimate format and performed entirely by our students.

In collaboration with the Library team, these students brought the first GLM Tiny Desk to life—a project that proves culture is not an isolated event, but something we build together.

Feel free to hit play, support these initiatives, and share. Because when talent dares to broaden its musical horizons, the school finds a new rhythm and reaches the summit.
